MH Maker is located within the national 5A-level scenic area of Mission Hills China. Spanning an area of 4,300 sqm, it combines handmade experience and boutique sales, while integrating public teaching with professional creation. It is the first domestic experiential destination that brings together 13 major handicraft art including glass, leather, wood, cloth, paper, pottery, clay art, metalworking, color painting, intangible cultural heritage, floral aesthetics, sculpture, and an assembly ground for scholarly pursuits, in addition to children's fine arts and art photography spaces. We are committed to creating a learning base featuring China's most comprehensive handcraft experience and rich intangible cultural heritage, exploring a new development model based on traditional handicrafts.

MH Maker prominently features in two major cultural events in Shenzhen, namely the "Cultural and Creative Industry Expo" and "Creative December ". Art Store (inclusive of exhibition hall)

The first level of the MH Maker is a 1,000-sqm art store (inclusive of exhibition area), creating a sales and exhibition platform that gathers the works of domestic and foreign handicraft masters, handmade products, original brands, as well as cultural and creative supplies. The exhibition space features thousands of products from over 100 outstanding handcraft artists as well as cultural and creative brands nationwide, making it the largest standalone handicraft boutique store in China. Take your pick at a wide range of cultural and creative gifts, with bulk purchase of corporate gifts also available.

The exhibition hall regularly features artistic works with different themes, such as the works of intangible cultural heritage masters, ceramic art, different art collections, photography works, contemporary art, handicraft creations and more.

Franz Collection

Franz Collection is a contemporary art collection that conveys a fashionable aesthetic of elegance. It uses special underglaze coloring techniques and craftsmanship to create exquisite three-dimensional structures, and reproducing innovative porcelain art that blends together Chinese and Western cultures. Artisanal Cheong Sam

The elegance of a Cheong Sam can never be overstated. The artisan, Li Ying, uses traditional Chinese techniques to cut and sew one-piece works of art, showcasing the delicate figure of its clientele. The entire garment is hand-sewn, with hand-hung sizing, hand-pressed seams, hand-rolled edges, hand-tucked pleats, and handmade button closures. Sky Dye Workshop

Founded by Master Chen Jinglin, the workshop advocates for hand-dyeing of fabrics weaving, with the belief that "dyeing is easy, but fabric weaving is the bottleneck of the dyeing and weaving process. There are not many people who can weave fabric, and even fewer who can use it for creative purposes". "The rich and layered beauty of color is the most fascinating aspect of the dyeing and weaving process!"

Glass Town

Founded in 2005, Glass Town has a unique design philosophy that draws inspiration from France, Italy, and northern Europe. The brand inherits the exquisite craftsmanship of handcrafted glass that has been passed down for centuries. All products are made of environmental-friendly, lead-free colored glass materials and are hand-blown. With an exquisite and noble attitude, Glass Town continuously injects the beauty of art into glass spaces from the inside out, from products to concepts.

18 Paper

The brand was created by the founder, Mr. Liu, who took the surname "Li" of his wife and split it into different characters. It was then combined with the characteristics of the eighteen bends and transformations of paper furniture.

Accordion-style paper furniture is made by pasting kraft paper into a honeycomb hexagonal structure, giving it a super strong load-bearing capacity and the ability to stretch. It is great for both home and office use, saving up to 90% space, making it practical and portable.

Amid the sound of forging, even time comes to a standstill.

Compared to other materials, metals have greater plasticity and the perfect expressiveness under their hard appearance. Metalworking is a process that hones your patience. Glass Experience - The Charm of Glass

In the glass workshop, there are three main sections: glassblowing, lampworking, and stained glass. Glassblowing, as the first experience center in Southern China that is open to both the public and professionals, is the biggest highlight of the studio. It has introduced a complete set of German hot-melting equipment, which can produce various artistic glassworks of different shapes and styles. Lampworking is suitable for making small glass sculptures such as jewellery and creative stirrers. Intangible Cultural Heritage Learning Base – Blending modernity and traditions

Here, a variety of ICH handicrafts are taught, including paper cutting, watermark printing, folk opera face painting, shadow puppet creation, Feng Xiang clay sculpture, olive pit carving, seal carving, bamboo weaving, leak-printed fabrics, dough figurines, painted tea mats, fine brushwork painting, clay board painting, antique toy making, and comprehensive material art creation. These experiential projects allow more people to understand and fall in love with the richness of our ICH, and have intimate contact with excellent traditional culture.

Flower and Plant Aesthetics – A Breath of Natural Atmosphere

In the Flower and Plant Aesthetics workshop, we search for the aesthetics of life through the abundance of flora and fauna. The workshop offers flower arrangement activities, led by professional plant teachers, to create unique floral ornaments, including floral arrangements, everlasting flowers, floating flower fragrances, ecological bottles, and more. There are also baking experiences that allow the mind and body to focus on baking, naturally feeling peaceful and relaxed. In addition, the workshop has a green plant display space, including Japanese-style gardens, balconies, green walls, and more.

Master Zheng China – Renowned Sculptor

Founding President of the Longhua District skilled talent association, member of the China Sculpture Society, and member of the China Designer Association. He is good at forging copper for large-scale sculpture works, and is known for his work in the conservation and rejuvenation of heritage buildings, as well as art exhibitions. In his spare time, he recycles waste industrial machinery parts to create a large number of industrial style sculptures, and has held several personal exhibitions. Featured on a Tencent QQ talented people series, he was affectionately known as the "most talented waste sculptor".
